Why Change our name?

Central Tyre & Exhaust was started up over 35 years ago offering a fast fit service in the Orpington area hence the name, specialising in tyres, brake and exhaust replacement.

Over the last few years the company has dramatically changed with huge investment in a new MOT bay, latest computer diagnostics and all the equipment needed for a modern day workshop. We now offer a complete car repair and care service, with all of our technicians fully trained and ATA accredited. The only thing now stopping us was our name as it no longer portrayed our true capabilities and services, so we decided to change the company name to CENTRAL AUTO CENTRE

Nothing else has changed, it’s the same staff, telephones numbers and location just the name has changed so remember for all you car repairs needs contact:

Central Auto Centre has been established for over 35 years, located in Green Street Green, Orpington, Kent, on the A21 just to the south of Bromley.

The site was originally a forge before the war, then a petrol filling station which then evolved into a family run fast fit centre offering replacement tyres and exhausts on a while-you-wait service, hence the original name.

Over the years with a lot of investment in new garage equipment and MOT bays we can now offer the complete range of garage services including:
